Comprehensive Community Education and Nutritional Support Initiative

RHAI is dedicated to addressing malnutrition and supporting vulnerable groups through targeted interventions. Recently, we conducted an extensive community awareness campaign in Kahe Mashariki Ward, Moshi DC, aimed at educating families on proper nutrition, early detection of malnutrition, and care for children with physical disabilities.

Our team facilitated Mid-Upper Arm Circumference (MUAC) measurements to assess the nutritional status of children, including those with physical disabilities who are often at higher risk of malnutrition. Identified cases of malnutrition received immediate follow-up care, including the provision of nutritious food and essential supplements tailored to meet their unique needs.

This initiative not only offers direct support to malnourished and physically disabled children but also empowers families with knowledge and resources to ensure sustainable care and improved quality of life. By combining education, proactive screening, and holistic interventions, RHAI continues to build healthier and more inclusive communities.
